Welcome to the Bollywood Artist Welfare Association (BAAWA), an autonomous body Registration Act No. 1. 21/1860/MH1773/13, proudly serving over 10,000 members. Governed by an elected executive committee that works on an honorary basis, BAAWA is dedicated to fostering fraternity and unity among Bollywood artists. Our association not only strives to regulate professional relations between artists and their employers but also promotes high standards of professional conduct and integrity. We offer vocational training programs for job seekers in Bollywood, skilled training for actors and workers, and organize various sports tournaments and training sessions. Additionally, BAAWA provides essential support to needy families by distributing rations and other necessary items. What is artist card

Artists who work in the film industry. Those artists take Membership in some artist union or association. So that if they face any kind of problem while working in the film industry, then the Union will help them. and the union or association to which the member. That association gives them a membership card. That card itself is called the artist card. Artist/actor or worker working in the film industry like director, assistant director, cameraman, spot boy, lightman, makeup artist, etc. They must have an artist card. The Artist card is issued by an association or union certified by the Government of India. These artist card-issuing organizations are governed under the Trade Union Act 1926 and Association Act 1860 of the Government of India/State Government.

When an artist or worker working in shooting works in the film industry. When their payment is given, the producer or coordinator deducts their wages and does not pay the full payment. When there is a protest, the phone is switched off or the artist’s number is blocked. Actors and workers working in shootings should complain about such fraud people to the Artists Association. BOLLYWOOD ARTIST WELFARE ASSOCIATION will get you your money by taking all legal action to recover your registered member’s due remuneration payment from that producer or casting coordinator. Sometimes they even punish such producers.
Apart from these reasons, as a registered member who has an Artist card, you get a chance to go to events organized by your association, such as workshops, festivals, entertainment shows, award functions, award shows, meetings, or farewell ceremonies with a big personality, etc. You get to learn a lot.

a separate writer, producer, and director association are active in Bollywood, and are working for the benefit of their members.

BOLLYWOOD ARTIST WELFARE ASSOCIATION  ( Artist Card Online / आर्टिस्ट कार्ड)

(1) एक कलाकार/एक्टर या फिल्म इंडस्ट्री में जो वर्कर्स काम करते है जैसे, डायरेक्टर, अस्सिटेंट डायरेक्टर, कैमरामैन, स्पॉटबॉय, लाइटमैन, मेकअप आर्टिस्ट, इत्यादि। उनके पास आर्टिस्ट कार्ड होना आवश्यक है। आर्टिस्ट कार्ड भारत सरकार द्वारा प्रमाणित एसोसिएशन के द्वारा जारी किया जाता हैं। आर्टिस्ट कार्ड जारी करने वाली ये संस्थाएं भारत सरकार/राज्य सरकार के श्रमिक संघ अधिनियम 1860 /1926/ और  1950के अंतर्गत संचालित होते हैं।
(2) फिल्म इंडस्ट्री में जब कोई कलाकार या शूटिंग में काम करने वाले वर्कर्स काम करते है। जब उनकी पेमेंट दी जाती है तब प्रोडूसर या कोर्डिनेटर उनका मेहनताना काट लेता है पूरी पेमेंट नहीं देता। जब विरोध किया जाता है तो फ़ोन स्विच ऑफ कर लेते है या आर्टिस्ट का नंबर ब्लॉक कर दिया जाता है। ऐसे फ्रॉड लोगो की शिकायत एक्टर्स और शूटिंग में काम कर रहे वर्कर्स को उन लोगो की शिकायत आर्टिस्ट एसोसिएशन में करनी चाहिए। BOLLYWOOD ARTIST WELFARE ASSOCIATION अपने रजिस्टर्ड सदस्य का वाजिब मेहनताना पेमेंट उस प्रोड्यूसर या कास्टिंग कोर्डिनेटर से वसूलने के लिए सभी कानूनी कार्रवाई करके आपको आपका पैसा दिलाएगी। कई बार तो ऐसे प्रोड्यूसर्स को दंडित भी करती हैं।
इन कारणों के अलावा एक रजिस्टर्ड मेंबर जिसके पास आर्टिस्ट कार्ड है वो अपने एसोसिएशन द्वारा आयोजित, वर्कशॉप, फेस्टिवल्स, मनोरंजन शो , पुरष्कार समारोह, अवार्ड शो, किसी बड़ी हस्ती से मिलन या विदाई समारोह जैसे इत्यादि कार्यक्रमों में आपको जाने का मौका मिलता है जहां आपको बहुत कुछ सीखने समझने को मिलता हैं।

आवश्यक जानकारी / Essential Information

  1. शूटिंग लोकेशन पर कॉल टाइम से पहले पहुंचें।

  2. शूटिंग लोकेशन से जाते समय डायरेक्टर, अस्सिटेंट डायरेक्टर, या प्रोडक्शन कर्मचारी को बता के जाये।

  3. कर्मचारी को बता के जाये।
    शूटिंग लोकेशन पर अपना मोबाइल साइलेंट रखे

  4. अगर आपका किसी ने ऑनलाइन सलेक्शन किया है। या काम देने के बदले पैसे की डिमांड करता है। तो इसकी जानकारी तुरंत सिने टीवी आर्टिस्ट वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन को दे।

  5. एग्रीमेंट/कॉन्ट्रैक्ट में लिखी बातों (क्लॉज)को ठीक से पढ़े और समझे बिना उसपर दस्तख़त न करें।

  6. अगर आपसे कोई ऑडिशन के पैसे मांगता है तो पैसे न दे। ऑडिशन देने के पैसे नहीं लगते है।

  7. कभी भी फिल्म इंडस्ट्री में जाने के लिए शॉर्टकट ना चुने। अपनी काबिलियत से काम ढूंढे ।
